On October 12, 2026 Cursor announced The X Subscription. The pricing help page says new customers choose that plan: Free at $0, Plus at $8 per month, Premium at $30 per month, Super at $100 per month, and Ultra at $200 per month. Teams seats are $30, $100, or $200 per month. Legacy Pro at $20 per month, Pro+ at $60 per month, and the older Ultra stay with existing subscribers and are not sold to new customers. On Premium and above, third-party models are billed at API list price from prepaid credit. Plus does not include third-party models.
On June 1, 2026 Cursor said the Teams Standard seat stayed $40 per month, or $32 on annual plans, with more included usage and no change in cost. A new Premium seat, with 5x Standard usage, was $120 per month or $96 on annual plans. New customers were affected immediately. Renewing customers were affected on billing cycles starting July 1, 2026.
Cursor said that at the next billing renewal after September 15, 2025, Auto would contribute to included monthly usage for individuals. The post said Auto had been unlimited for individuals since June 2025, and that from December 2023 to June 2025 it had been priced like other premium models. Yearly plans bought in June 2025 would not see the change until renewal in June 2026.
Cursor said Teams plans, starting at the next renewal after September 15, 2025, would drop the fixed 250 Sonnet requests per month and the $0.08 per extra Sonnet request. The replacement was $20 of agent usage per user, consumed at public API list prices plus $0.25 per million total tokens. Tab stayed unlimited.
On July 4, 2025 Cursor said the June Pro change had not been communicated clearly and offered refunds for unexpected usage charges between June 16 and July 4. The post restated Pro as unlimited Tab and Auto, plus $20 of frontier-model usage at API pricing, with extra usage available at cost. It said the old plan had been 500 requests per month, with Sonnet models costing two requests.
On June 16, 2025 Cursor announced Ultra at $200 per month with 20x the usage of Pro. The same post said Pro would move from request limits to compute limits, with at least $20 of model inference at API prices per month, unlimited Auto, and no tool-call limits. Existing users could stay on the 500-request method. Cursor updated the post on June 30 for clarity.
